Hi! You're watching VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to use Steps Recorder in Windows 10.
The first thing that we need to do is open up Steps Recorder. If you don't know how to locate it, you can watch our previous tutorial on how to do so. We're going to click on the lower-left corner of the screen to open up the start menu.
Then, click "Steps Recorder". Wait for it to load.
Then, simply click "Start Record". Now, everything you do will be recorded.
For example, let's click on a few places on the screen.
Then, click and drag and release an area on the screen.
You can also add a comment by clicking "Add Comment".
Once you're sure that you are ready to stop recording, you need to simply click "Stop Record". Now, you have all of the report, including clicking, dragging, and releasing. Also, there is a comment.
You can simply read the report or close it.
Alternatively, you can save the report by clicking "Save".
Let's call it "VisiHow test".
Click "Save". A zip file will be created in the chosen folder.
Close the Steps Record window.
Open it in any of text viewers. For example let's click "Edit" to open it in Microsoft Word. You will see the exact same thing that we saw before.
This concludes our tutorial on how to use Steps Recorder in Windows 10. Thank you for watching VisiHow! If you have any other comments or questions, please leave them in the comments section below.
