Use Steps Recorder on Windows 10

Steps

The first thing that we need to do is open up Steps Recorder

If you don't know how to locate it, you can watch our previous tutorial on how to do so. We're going to click on the lower-left corner of the screen to open up the start menu.

Then, click "Steps Recorder"

Wait for it to load.

Then, simply click "Start Record"
.
Now, everything you do will be recorded.

For example, let's click on a few places on the screen

Then, click and drag and release an area on the screen
.

You can also add a comment by clicking "Add Comment"

Once you're sure that you are ready to stop recording, you need to simply click "Stop Record"

Now, you have all of the report, including clicking, dragging, and releasing. Also, there is a comment.

You can simply read the report or close it

Alternatively, you can save the report by clicking "Save"

Let's call it "VisiHow test"

A zip file will be created in the chosen folder.

Close the Steps Record window

Open it in any of text viewers

For example let's click "Edit" to open it in Microsoft Word. You will see the exact same thing that we saw before.
