You're watching VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to use Spotify Running on the Spotify application on the iPhone 6.
Steps
1
To begin, we need to unlock the phone by pressing the lock button on the right-hand side of the phone
.
Alternatively, press the home button on the bottom.
2
Swipe and enter the passcode or simply use the fingerprint scanner
.
3
Find and tap on the Spotify icon, which is black and green
.
This will open up the app. It will take us to the browse page, which is like the Spotify homepage. If we're not logged in, it will take us to the sign in page. To learn how to log in to Spotify, refer to my other video.
4
Tap the 3 horizontal white lines in the top left-hand corner
.
This brings up a new menu.
5
Tap on "Running", which has a picture of a stickman running on the left-hand side
.
6
Now we have different playlists that are designed to match different things when we're running
.
For example, the first section is for our tempo, and we can tune them to match the tempo we are running. If we're interested in a playlist, we can tap on it.
7
The phone will say "Start running to detect your tempo", so we would have to start running for it to see how fast we're going
.
8
Tap on the arrow in the top left-hand corner to go back
.
9
We can choose another playlist and it will ask us to start running, but we can tap "SKIP" to skip through
.
10
It will start playing the music in the playlist
.
11
Tap on the arrow in the top left-hand corner to go back
.
12
Then, tap on the 3 horizontal lines and tap on "Browse", indicated by the record sleeves on the left
.
This will bring us back to the page where we started.
13
