Use Slicer Mode on Pioneer DDJ SX2

Steps
1
First of all, we press "SLICER"
.
The button will light up in red. This is the button in the "Pad mode" area. It is the third from the left.

Now, we press the "PLAY" key

We will see that the blue light will get to where the track is playing.

If we press one of the pad buttons, we can start a loop

To change the duration of the loop, we can press and hold a button
.
Then, we can
- press the left "PARAMETER" key for a smaller loop;
- press the right "PARAMETER" key for a longer loop.

We can press "SHIFT" and the left "PARAMETER" key
.
This will decrease the sampling duration window. We will see that the lights will go faster.

We can press the sampler buttons

We can press "SHIFT" and the right "PARAMETER" key
.
This will increase the sampling duration window.

We can also press "SHIFT" and "SLICER"
.
This will activate the "SLICER LOOP" mode. This will keep the track from playing past the indicated point. We can just manipulate the audio from the point. We can play with the track as much as we want, and it will not move forward.

To deactivate the loop, we press the "SLICER" button again
