Steps
- 1Then we're going to swipe across the main screen or we use another method of unlocking the phone depending on what you have set up specific to your device, such as PIN or finger press.
- 2Once we're on the home screen, we're simply going to tap the Applications menu icon one time.Now we're on the home screen.
- 3In the applications folder, you're simply looking for the Samsung Studio application, it's a multicolor blue, purple 'S'. We're just going to tap that one time.And then it's going to open us up to our main applications folder.
- 4You're going to have four different things you can use. You have "Photo studio". You will have "Collage studio." You will have "Shot & more" and you will have "Video trimmer".But when you tap on Studio, it's going to give you a selection of menu options.
- 5Each function offers different options for your recordings, your photos, and each of them will allow you to do different things with them depending on your ending result for which you would like to see happen. To learn more about each of these options, please scroll down and read the corresponding section of this guide.Each of these can be chosen simply by tapping it to select it.

Method 2: Photo Studio
You are watching VisiHow. Today we are going to show you how to use the Photo studio function of the Samsung studio for the video editing application.You should already have the E Samsung Studio editing application open.
Steps
- 1Once you have it opened, press on time on the Photo studio option.
- 2After pressing the Photo studio option, you will be taken to a list of all your photos.
- 3You're going to find one photo that you would like to edit, in my case we are going to choose this image of flowers.
- 4Tapping one time on the image of flowers will open it up, and you will see the system beginning to process, and then loads the Image in.
- 5Once the image is loaded in, you will be able to make some minor edits, modification and adjustments to it.In this case, the very first thing I am going to do is to tap on the Adjustment's Option.
- 6The adjustment's Option will bring up a menu, which allows me to Rotate, Resize or Crop the image.
- 7In my case, I am going to Crop the image.
- 8It is a very large image, and I don't need all of it.
- 9I simply want the flowers.
- 10I am adjusting the Crop table to fit in the flowers.
- 11And then, when we are ready, we'll tap on Done.
- 12Now the image has successfully been cropped.
- 13To remove this menu, I simply press the Adjustment's button again.
- 14The menu will go away.
- 15If I am unhappy with what I've done, I can press the back button.
- 16And that will undo my changes.
- 17However, if after pressing the back button, I decided that I liked what I have done, I can press the forward button instead.
- 18Thus, return to what changes I have previously made.
- 19Tapping on the Tone, allows me to change the Temperature, Brightness, Contrast, Saturation, Red's, Green's… of the image, as represented in this menu blow.Next I can change the Tone.
- 20In this case, I am going to warm the image up a bit.
- 21To warm it up, you're going to drag to the right.
- 22Or drag down to the left.
- 23I am going to go ahead and make this a very warm image.As you can see this little temperature thing, fills up, and the image changes behind.
- 24To see what it looked like before I changed it, just press and hold on the image.
- 25There is the before picture.
- 26Here is the after picture, when removing your finger from the image.
- 27If you are happy with the changes, go ahead and press Done.
- 28Next, you can tap on the Tone option To get rid of the menu.
- 29Now we're going to press on Effect.
- 30Effect will allow me to add a lot of things to the image.
- 31This is mentioned below the pictures, such us Sharpen.
- 32Now I am going to choose Yellow glow.
- 33See what it did to the image.
- 34I think that is too bright, so I am going to tap on cancel, to undo that.
- 35And now I will scroll through some more of these, to see if I find one that I like.
- 36So let's go for this one Nostalgia.
- 37Image will have some changes.
- 38We're going to cancel and choose another option.
- 39We will choose Sharpen.
- 40I am going to tap on Done, and the image has been sharpened.Sharpen works for me, that will make it look better.
- 41Then I am going to tap on Effect to remove that effect.
- 42If I was working with Portrait, I could use the Portrait option to remove, red eye, Brighten faces, Airbrush, or correct minor focus adjustments.
- 43As mentioned in the menu, and since the image is not a face, I am not going to use any of these.
- 44Press the Portrait to remove the menu.
- 45I can also add Decorations; I've Stickers, Stamps, Label, Frame, Drawing, and Image.
- 46Let's go ahead and put frame around it.
- 47I am going to go with this frame here.
- 48I can scroll through, to see other frame options.
- 49If I don't like it, I can cancel.
- 50And choose a heart shape frames.
- 51In there, you can find several designs.
- 52Or we can have some shape designs.
- 53Here we have our standard frames.
- 54So for now I am going to choose this one.
- 55Then press Done.
- 56Now my image has been framed, next I can add Sticker.
- 57There is the Heart.
- 58I can move this image by dragging it up to here.

- 60I can then tap on menu option, and my decoration option will go away.
- 61Maybe I want to go back, and get rid of that heart, by pressing on the back option.

- 64Let's put it over the fake Heart up here.

Method 3: Collage Studio

- 1First tap on the Collage Studio function.You should already have the application opened.

You will be presented a list of photos, which you can scroll through, to find the images that you would like to make a Collage of

Steps
- 1Shot & More is the function that the Samsung Galaxy S5 camera offers, where it takes multiple sets of images from a single series and allows you to edit, manage and manipulate them.What we're going to do is tap on the Shot & More option.
- 2Tap on OK to continue.Keep in mind, only pictures taken using the Shot and More options in Camera can be edited in this studio.
- 3You will see images that were taken using the Shot and More option.

You are watching VisiHow. Today we are going to be discussing how to use the video trimmer, to add it, modify it, and change videos, on your Samsung Galaxy S5 smartphone.
Steps
- 1To start with, you need to have the Samsung studio image editing application open, then you're going to tap on video trimmer one time.
- 2It will open up a list of videos, which you've taken on your phone, over various periods.
- 3For this case, we are going to use the panoramic video which was taken over the city.
- 4Now a short eight seconds video is on, and it will give me the option to Rotate.
- 5I can turn it upside down.
- 6Or I can put it sideways.
- 7I can put it back to up.
- 8If you have a forty or fifty seconds video, and you want to add up a clip or series of clips, you can do that with this application.I can simply drag to edit where my video starts, and where my video ends.

Where do the edited photos go because Studio App on my Galaxy S5?
I have a newly acquired, refurb'd Galaxy S5. I took some photos. I figured out how to edit them. They were automatically saved into the "Studio." But when I go to Apps, I can't find Studio or photo studio or anything. There *is* a purple icon, but it says Video and wants me to connect to a Samsung account. Your article says go to the Studio icon in the Apps section. What if there IS NO icon?? I have tried: I've tried the Help section on the phone. I've tried a couple forums. I think it was caused by: It's a refurbished phone and I'm not sure what OS it has (i.e.: it asks for "Calendar" permission for Gallery, and I read that normal OS doesn't need that). I'm a newbie with smart phones.
