Use Outlook to Send Location from Microsoft Maps on Microsoft Lumia 535

Steps

Turn the phone on by pressing the power button located on the right-hand side of the phone

Once the phone is activated, the lock screen will become visible.

Swipe the lock screen up to get to the home screen

Find the Maps tile on the home screen

In this tutorial, it is pinned to the home screen. The tile has a blue background with a white map inside. If the Maps tile is not pinned to the home screen, swipe left to find it in the application menu.

Tap on the Maps tile once it is located to enter the application

The goal is to send a chosen location or address to someone by using the Outlook e-mail service. For example, this is very useful when two people want to meet up at a location.

Find the location on the map

Tap and hold the street or the location near the area to set a pin

The pin will bring up the address of the location.

Tap the black text box with the white text inside to bring up the information about the area

The "about" screen has the address field that is needed to be shared.

Tap the icon at the bottom in the middle to share the location

The icon is a white circle with three arcs inside with gaps between them. This will bring up two options, which are "Messaging" and "Outlook".

Tap "Outlook" with the white Outlook symbol to send an e-mail message with the address

The Internet connection is required for this operation. The Outlook client will be opened.

Tap the text box field to add any text for the e-mail message

Tap the "To:" text field to add the addressee's e-mail address or the contact

It is possible to add the subject too by tapping the "Subject" text box.

Tap the leftmost button at the bottom of the screen when the e-mail message has been composed

The button is a black circle with a black envelope with three black lines that indicate movement. The e-mail message will be sent to the addressee.
