Use Notes on Your iPhone

One of the primary reasons to buy a smartphone is so that you can do your daily tasks on the go. Be it writing an article, making a presentation or simply jotting down a beautiful thought you had while looking outside the window. Smartphones are meant to satiate your needs and creativity. And yet, most of us don't make an optimum utilization of our smartphones by ignoring the plethora of apps that are offered to us.
Take the iPhone app 'Notes' for example. This app was introduced in the very first iPhone OS 1.0 way back in June 2007. And over the years, many subtle additions and subtractions have been made to the app. While iPhone 3 enabled you to copy and paste in the app, iPhone 5 allowed you to experiment with the font. Too bad this privilege was taken away from us with an iOS 7 update. But what to do? You gain some, you lose some.
The bottom line is that even though the app is pretty old, many users out there have trouble operating it. So let's take a step by step approach to understand this simple yet fascinating app.
Creating a New Note
In order to create a new note on your iPhone just:
- 1It's easy to locate since the icon looks like a notepad.Tap on the notes app on your home screen.
- 2Tap it.You'll see a 'New' button in the top-right corner.
- 3Tap anywhere on the screen and the keyboard will appear as well.A blank note will appear on your screen.
- 4When you're done typing, press 'Done'.Feel free to type anything you want.

P.S.- Feel like starting a new note? Just press 'Notes' again. Go to the 'New' Note icon. Tap on it and a new note will appear.
Editing an Existing Note On an iPhone
Not happy with what you've typed? Want to make changes to your note? Well worry not. Just follow these simple steps and make any changes you want within seconds.
- 1Open the notes app on your iPhone by tapping on the Notes icon.
- 2Select the note you want to edit by tapping on it.
- 3Feel free to make any changes you want. When you're done typing, press 'Done'.The keyboard will appear as soon as you tap inside the screen.

Sometimes you want to share your work of art with others. How do you share that beautiful poem you wrote, or that beautiful story you'd jotted down on the bus? It's easy. Just follow these simple steps.

Printing
Let's face it. Soft copies are dicey. What if your phone betrays you and decides to calmly erase all your data? What if all your notes just vanish into thin air? All that hard work gone just like that. It might be a wise choice to keep a hard copy of all your efforts.
So here are some simple steps by which you can print your notes:
- 1Begin by opening the notes app on your phone.
- 2Select the note you want to print.
- 3Underneath the options to share it (Message and Mail), you'll find the option to print it. Tap on that and print your note.Select the share button.
