You're watching VisiHow. In this video tutorial, we are going to review "Icon labels" in the "Air view" menu using the S Pen on the Samsung Note 10.1 (2014 Edition).
We tap and swipe down the screen from the top of the home screen. We will access the notification panel.
In the top right-hand corner, we will find the gear-shaped Settings icon. We tap it once to access Settings.
In Settings, we tap on "Controls". We locate "S Pen" under "Voice and input methods".
We tap on "S Pen" once. We need to look for the second section in the "S Pen" settings. The section is "Air view".
We make sure that "Air view" is turned on. The switch should be green and in the right-hand position.
Now, let's tap on "Air view". In this video tutorial, we are going to review "Icon labels".
We make sure that "Icon labels" is turned on. The switch should be green and in the right-hand position.
We tap on "Icon labels". We will remove the S Pen from its case located in the top right-hand corner behind the screen.
If the tablet is lying flat, we lift it up.
We locate the S Pen notch and gently pull out the S Pen. Once the S Pen is removed, we can continue. "Icon labels" will inform us: "View the labels of icons by hovering your pen over them." Now, we will try that in the demonstration.
We tap "Try it" with the S Pen.
We hover our S Pen over the icon area. We will see "Eraser". We will be able to hover the S Pen over certain icons in order to see what they are. For example, we can hover the S Pen over the eraser icon, and "Eraser" will be shown on the screen. We can hover over the back arrow and forward arrow. We will be shown the label text.
