   For those of you who have the emoji layout installed and use it, tap on any of your applications that allow you to type

   You can use Notes, Reminders, Calendars, or, most commonly, Mail or Messages. In this case, let's tap on Messages.

   Choose to whom you want to compose a message by tapping the name or number
