Use Daydream on Nexus 6P

Steps

On the home screen, swipe down from the top

This will reveal a gear-shaped icon.

Tap the gear-shaped icon

Tap on the "Daydream" function

"Daydream" is basically just a screensaver that activates when your device is either docked or charging.

Make sure that the screensaver function is "On"

If it is "Off", tap on the toggle.

Then, tap on the three dots in the top-right corner

Tap on "When to daydream"
.
This will bring up a new menu. In this video, "Either" is chosen. If you have a dock, you can tap on "While docked". "While charging" is most applicable.

Let's leave it on "Either"

This will help you when you get a dock in the future. Now, there are features that utilize this function. There are five of them in this video.

To see what the function looks like, tap on the three dots again

Then, tap on "Start now"

You'll see that it very dimly displays the time.

Tap on the screen to go back

You can choose a feature

For example, tap on "Colors".

You can see colors that gradually shift on the screen.

If you have photos, you could tap on "Photos"; and pictures would be shown while the phone is charging.
