    To start, unlock the phone by pressing the home button at the bottom of the screen or the lock button on the right-hand side

    Once the lock screen is up, simply swipe and enter your passcode
    .
    Alternatively, hold your finger onto the home button, which doubles as a fingerprint scanner, if you have that option enabled. This brings us to the home screen.

    Find the Booking.com application, which has a dark blue icon with a white "B" and a small light blue circle next to it

    Tap that to open the app, which will immediately take us to the search menu.

    Fill out the rest of the information, then press the blue "Search" bar

    Now it is offering different places around the current location and we can tap "Show on map" to show the results on the map

    Your current location is also a blue dot, but it is pulsating a blue circle
