Google's Digital Wellbeing is a set of tools designed to help you gain a clearer picture of how you use your device each day, in addition to optimization options such as app timers. Google's position is that they want mobile tech to compliment the user's life, rather than completely overtake it.

Of course, too too much usage varies from person-to-person, so you select which apps to use timers with. Once you've monitored and analyzed your daily tapping habits, you're ready to set app timers to help cut down on unnecessary digital exposure.

For the following guide, we used a Google Pixel running Android 9.

**Please Note** Digital Wellbeing is currently in beta, and only some supports devices running Android Oreo or Pie.
