Steps

    We tap and swipe down the screen from the top of the home screen

    We will bring down our notification panel.

    In the top right-hand corner, we will find a gear- or wheel-shaped icon

    The icon stands for Settings. We tap it once to access Settings.

    Now that we are in Settings, we must tap on "Device"

    In "Device", we are looking for the "Accessibility" icon under "Personalization".

    We tap "Accessibility" once

    In "Accessibility", we tap and scroll down the screen until we find "Hearing"

    Under "Hearing", we will review the following options: "Mono audio", "Turn off all sounds", and "Flash notification". W

    We can tap the "Mono audio" checkbox to use a mono audio signal

    "Mono audio" reads: "Switch audio from stereo to mono for when you are using one earphone". This means that when the option is turned on, we will have both left- and right-ear sound come into each earphone rather than into each ear separately. The audio will be switched from stereo to mono. We can simply tap the "Mono audio" checkbox to turn the mono audio mode on.

    We can turn off all of the sound on our device by tapping the checkbox next to "Turn off all sounds"

    There will be no sounds on the device even if the volume is turned all the way up with the volume button.

    The last option is "Flash notification"
    .
    It reads: "Flash the camera light when you receive notifications or incoming calls or when alarms sound." This means that the camera flash with turn on on the back side of the device. We can tap the checkbox next to "Flash notification" to enable the option. We will note that when notification comes or when an alarm sounds, the flash will light up on the back of the tablet.
