   To start, we need to unlock the phone

   If there is a fingerprint lock, place and hold the finger associated with the device on the home button to access the phone.

   We then need to locate and open the Facebook application

   The icon associated with this application features a blue square with a white letter 'F' inside of it. Tap on this icon to open the application.

   Once Facebook is opened, we will need to access our personal profile

   To do this, we will tap the icon featuring three horizontal gray lines with the word 'More' written underneath of it. This icon is located on the bottom right-hand of the screen and will open the main menu list.

   This option will feature your Facebook name with your profile picture to the left of it. Tapping it will bring you to your Facebook profile page.

   First we will show you how to upload a photo from the Camera Roll

   Tap on the 'Upload Photo' option located at the top of the menu. This will bring up your Camera Roll.

   Reposition the photo however you would like

   To do this, we will hold our finger on the screen and drag it to reposition the picture. On a vertical picture, you will be able to scroll up and down, where as on a horizontal picture you will be able to scroll left to right.

    Once the picture is in position, tap the button on the top right of the screen marked as 'Save'

    It may take a couple seconds for the Cover Photo to be updated, however if it is taking too long press and drag your finger towards the bottom of the screen to update the page
