Hello and welcome to VisiHow. In this series of Facebook videos, I'll be showing you the secret Facebook features, or the ones that are not easy to find on your own. In this video, I will show you how to upload or change your profile photo on Facebook.

   Let's open Facebook by tapping on the blue icon with the Facebook 'f' logo on it

   The app has taken us to the main settings, and this is where we need to be.

   First, we'll tap on our name and profile picture, which will take us to the main profile

   .

   We have had the same profile picture for years, so it is time to change it.

   Tap on the profile photo in the square next to the name

   A pop-up menu will come up from the bottom of the screen.

   We have options to 'Upload Photo', 'Choose From Tagged Photos', or 'View Profile Picture'

   Let's try the first option, 'Upload Photo'

   Tap on that, and it will take us to the 'Camera Roll'.

   Tap once on a photo to open it

   At the 'Set Profile Picture' screen, the photo can be moved around until the desired part of the image is within the square

   We can also zoom in on the photo to make a certain part of the image bigger, or zoom out to make it smaller again

   Many people choose to put pictures of their children as their profile picture, but we're going to choose another, so let's tap on 'Cancel' at the top left corner of the screen to go back

    Continue to scroll through the photos to find just the right one

    As before, we can use our fingers to zoom in and out

    When satisfied with the photo, tap on 'Done' at the top right corner of the screen

    It may take a few seconds to load the profile photo.

    The second way to change the profile photo is, again, to tap on the profile photo square

    Then tap the second option, 'Choose From Tagged Photos'

    There are quite a few of these.

    Tap on a photo to open it

    We can zoom in and move the photo around until it is where we want it

    When we're happy with the position of the photo, we can tap on 'Done' at the top right corner

    It will then upload that photo as the profile picture.

    The profile photo has changed fairly quickly

    The third way to set up a profile photo is by picking from all previous profile pictures that have ever been used on Facebook.

    Tap on the profile picture square again, and then choose 'View Profile Picture'

    Swipe across the screen to scroll through previous profile photos

    To set up a picture as the profile photo, tap on the three dots in a row at the bottom of the screen

    At the menu that appears from the bottom of the screen, choose the second option, 'Make Profile Picture'

    The photo can be made bigger by zooming in and moved around to center on a certain area as desired
