You're watching VisiHow. In this video I'm going to show you how you can Upload a Sound from iTunes to the DubSmash library on an iPhone 6.
Steps
1
To begin we need to unlock the phone by pressing the Lock button on the right-hand side
.
2
Alternatively, the Home button at the bottom will unlock the phone
.
3
Swipe and enter the Passcode or use the fingerprint scanner
.
4
Once we are at the Home screen find the Dubsmash icon, which is the white one
.
Tap once to open the app.
5
It should take us to this page where we can browse the different genres of sounds
.
What we need to do now is go to these three horizontal white lines in the top left-hand corner.
6
Then we tap "Add Sound" which is the middle option
.
7
We see the second option down is "Add from iTunes." It's the same turquoise as the bar along the top
.
Tap once.
8
As we can see it's bringing up our iTunes list
.
Then we just tap the "+" plus on the right-hand side.
9
It starts to play the song as well as show us the waves on the screen as well
.
10
We can drag the grey vertical lines on each side to crop part of the song or Sound
.
Maybe we want it to be this long.
11
Perhaps we can start it from here
.
However we like.
12
We can see as well, because it's a long song, along the top we have the entire pink bar which shows us exactly which section we have
.
13
We can actually pull the wave side ways and move it across the bar
.
14
Alternatively, we can just drag the bar along the top
.
We can see there is a very small box. We can just drag that to which part of the song we like.
15
If we are happy with what we have, just press "Next" in the top right corner
.
16
Otherwise press "Next" in the bottom blue bar to proceed to the next step
.
17
Then we should add our tags
.
The examples uses "Placebo," the name of the band.
18
Then press "return" in the bottom right corner
.
19
We have to add a minimum of three tags
.
This example also tags "music" and "guitar."
20
We can press the return button or add more if we like
.
It has to be a minimum of three. Then press "Next" in the top right-hand corner to keep going.
21
Then we will select the language
.
This one is actually in English but if we want to change we can just scroll through and find which language. The thing is, it will go by the language we've already selected for Dubsmash. It will list in that one. This example might be different.
22
Then we should Add a Name as well
.
This example uses "Placebo."
23
When we are happy we can just press "Finish" in the top right corner
.
24
Now there is our Sound added into our "Uploaded Sounds" list within our Sounds
.
25
We can also tap on the right-hand side
.
26
Then we can "Delete" if we want, as well
.
27
Just to show that if we tap "Delete" on the right side, it deletes our Sound
.
28
We can go back by pressing the "Back" button
.
29
Then press "Trending" on the left-hand side which will take us back to the screen where we started
.
30
This is a VisiHow video and I've just shown you how you can add a Sound from iTunes to the DubSmash application on an iPhone 6
.
If you have any questions or comments, feel free to add them into the section below. Thanks for watching. Goodbye.
