    Go to the options bar at the bottom of the screen and tap on 'More.'

    Scroll down until you see 'Privacy Shortcuts' and tap to open it

    Tap on the fourth option which says 'Upload contacts'
    .
    This option will allow you to connect Facebook to the contacts that you have saved on your phone and discover which of those people are on Facebook. That lets you find some people you may have not seen for years or just add people that you do not have as a friend on Facebook yet.

    Tap on the switch option to turn it on

    Tap 'OK' in the pop-up window

    Tap 'OK' again in the next pop-up window to allow Facebook to access your contacts
    .
    It will now load a list of people whose phone numbers are saved on your phone but who you have not added as a friend on Facebook yet. Scroll down through the list and add the people who you would like to add. After the list, there is also another list called "People You May Know". These are just suggestions from Facebook. They are not people whose number you have saved in your phone.

    To add a person, just tap on 'Add Friend.' That will send them a friend request

    To close the list, tap on 'Next' in the upper right-hand corner
    .
    Facebook will ask you to invite contacts who are not already on Facebook. To skip this part, just tap on 'Done' in the upper right-hand corner.
