Steps

    To begin, we need to unlock our phone by pressing the Lock button located on the right-hand side of the device

    Alternatively, we can press the Home button

    The Home button is located at the front of the phone, in the center at the very bottom of the screen.

    Next we are going to swipe to the right to enter the Touch ID or Passcode screen

    Here we can choose to enter our Passcode, or press and hold our finger to the Home button to activate the Touch ID sensor

    Once we have unlocked the phone, we need to find and tap the MapMyRun application icon

    This icon features a white circle inside of a blue square. Inside of this circle, there will be a blue silhouette of a running man.

    This will open up the application

    We should be taken to the screen where we can start recording a workout.

    We now need to press the three, white, horizontal lines located in the top left-hand corner of the screen

    This is going to open up a menu bar for us

    This menu with be blue, with all the text written in white.

    We are now going to scroll down until we find the option labeled "Upgrade to MVP"

    This option is the fourth one from the bottom, with a map pin icon to the left of it.

    Tap this option one time, this is going to take us to a new page labeled "Upgrade"

    Here we can choose which upgrade we would like.

    The first choice we have is "Monthly", which will cost us £4.49 each month

    The second option we can choose is "Annual", which will cost us £22.99 per year

    On this screen, we can scroll through and see details about the upgrade

    We can also see how many extra options we get from being MVP compared to the free version of the application.

    Then we will simply tap on which option we would like, for our example we will tap on "Monthly"

    This is the left option, written inside of a gray box.

    This will open a dialog box titled "Sign In to iTunes Store", where we can enter in our Password for our iTunes account

    Once the password is entered, we can tap on "OK" to confirm the purchase and start the download.

    However, for today we are going to tap on "Cancel"

    Cancelling the transaction has brought up an error dialog box, however, this will disappear within a few seconds

    To exit this screen we are going to tap the three, white, horizontal lines in the top left-hand corner of the screen

    This will bring up the blue menu bar for us.

    Then we are going to tap on "Record a Workout"

    This open is listed first, right underneath of our name. It will feature an icon with a white triangle inside of a white outline of a circle.
