Edited by Freya, Crystal, Eng
Hello, you're watching VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to update your mood message on the Skype application on the iPhone 6.
Steps
1
To begin, unlock the phone by pressing the lock button on the right-hand side or the big round button at the bottom of the screen called the home button
.
2
Unlock the phone by swiping right and entering the passcode
.
Alternatively, press your finger on the home button, which doubles as a fingerprint scanner, if you have that option enabled.
3
Once on the home screen, find the Skype icon
.
In this example, it is in the "Social" folder. The icon is light blue and white with a blue "S" in the center. Tap that once to open it up. It will either take you to the sign-up page or the recent contacts page with a list.
4
Tap on your profile picture in the small circle in the top right-hand corner
.
This will open up your profile.
5
In your profile, you will see your profile picture at the top, and underneath of that in light blue it says "Enter mood message"
.
Tap that to enter a mood message.
6
Write your mood message, then press "done" in the top right-hand corner when you are done
.
In this example, we wrote "Hello!". We can also press "cancel" in the top left corner if we don't want to save it.
7
Now, in the blue bar, it says "Hello!", so when we show up as a contact on someone else's profile, it will say that next to the name
.
8
To return to the main menu, tap the white arrow in the top left corner
.
This will bring us to the "recent" screen.
9
This concludes the tutorial on how to update your mood message on Skype using the iPhone 6 application
.
