Swipe from left to right and enter the passcode or, if the option is enabled, press a finger on the Home button to unlock the phone and display the Home screen.
Find and tap the Snapchat icon to open the Snapchat application. The Snapchat icon has a white ghost on a yellow background. This will open the app to the default screen, which is the camera, where we are able to take a photo right away. Please refer to the video on VisiHow on how to take a photo using the Snapchat application for further details.
Tap the capture icon to take a photo to add to our Story. Once the photo has been taken, it will be displayed on the screen.
Tap the arrow icon in the bottom right corner of the screen to proceed to the 'Send To' screen.
Tap 'My Story', under the 'STORIES' header, to add the picture to our Story. Once we have tapped on 'My Story', a purple checkmark icon will appear next to 'My Story', indicating the photo will be added to our Story.
Tap the arrow icon in the bottom right corner of the screen to finish adding the photo to our Story.
Swipe from left to right to return to the camera screen.
