We tap the "System update" option
    .
We will see that we have a system update available. When we update our system, we may want to back up our data or create an image or back-up of our phone, contacts, or anything that is important if we choose not to back up everything. Otherwise, we may end up losing everything, because sometimes, downloads and updates do not go the way they should. We have to be very careful.

When we are prepared, we tap on "Download"
    .
We will see that download will have been started. In this video, we are at 2%. The bar will continue moving throughout the update. When the download is finished, we'll have the option to update the phone.

Once the download process has been completed, we'll be given the options that we can tap
    .
These are "Update now", "Update in 30 minutes", "Update in 6 hours", "Update in 3 days", or "Never ask". It is not recommended to tap "Never ask", as the phone will always automatically update itself; and there may be instances or times when we need to use our phone and download the update before the phone is updated. These options are a good feature. For example, we may want to download the update at the moment before we leave for work, or we can tell the phone to update itself in 30 minutes, when we are on the way to work while driving and not using the phone. In this case, we leave "Update now" selected.

We tap on "OK" at the bottom of the phone
    .
Once we've tapped on "OK", we'll see that the phone will restart and apply the update as it restarts. There is a progress indicator showing how long or how far the phone is going into the update process. Bigger updates take much more time than smaller updates. When the update is completed, the device will be restarted. Sometimes after updating, it may take longer than normal for our phone to restart. This is perfectly normal and nothing with which to be concerned. We just have to be patient while the phone is restarting. Once the phone restarts, we will notice the upgrade indicator. It means that the phone has been updated and has begun the process of optimizing applications. This can be a quick process, or it can take some time. It depends on how much information is on our phone and on what is actually happening with the phone. We have to be patient. When the optimization has been finished, the phone will not restart. It will have a newly updated Android operating system. Once the upgrade process finishes, we'll see that applications will be started up. The boot sequence will be completed. Once the boot sequence has been completed, we'll be taken to the lock screen.

If we have a pattern, we draw it
