Up Cycle a Metal Plant Stand DIY
Edited by Doug Collins, Eng
I would like to thank Dezine Fun for the awesome video on How to Up-Cycled Plant Stand DIY. I organized it into a wiki for anyone with a hearing impairment, or for those who just prefer to read the steps. Hope you enjoy it. :)
Steps
1
I am doing an up cycling project today. I found this, it looks like a plant stand, at the Good will store and it was 3.93 cents. I am going to clean it up and spray paint it. I also found find this huge glass candle, so I will show you how I'll paint this and clean it up.
2
Brush the stand using a wire brush
.
So it will clean it up and remove all that rust and it will be very smooth.
3
The top of the stand is now clean after using this brush
.
4
Use the Lysol wipes to wipe out all the rust and other things and make it smooth
.
Also, wipe down the legs and all the corners.
5
As you can see it's kind of rustic brown color
.
I really don't like this color so I'm going to spray it to black.
6
We are going to use RUST-OLEUM Gloss Protective Enamel, and hopefully, only need one or two coats
.
7
Place the stand in a box and start painting with the spray paint
.
8
The Other piece that I found at the Good one store was this huge glass candle holder
.
9
I'm going to wash and clean it up then use it with the candle stand
.
10
This is the finished project guys, my plant holder up cycled into a candle holder
.
11
This candle here is Crackling Candle by DW Home, and it smells really good
.
12
I want to thank everybody for watching, and I'll see you in a next video
.
Bye.
