How to get out of suspension

Suspension only occurs if you have a "provider" or "carrier" (most of them require a contract of one to two years) on your mobile phone. As the word itself suggests, suspension will restrict your phone from any communication. You will not be able to send text messages, make outgoing calls, access the internet or use any other data related application. There are ways to remove the suspension on your mobile phone. Here are some of them:

  1. 1
    Pay your outstanding balance
    .
This is one of the main reasons why mobile phones are suspended. An outstanding balance occurs whenever you forgot to pay one to two months of service fees to your "Provider" or "Carrier". Their system will automatically detect if you have already paid or not for each and every month. You can call your provider or carrier to see how much you owe them and settle your balance to remove the suspension on your mobile phone.

  • 2
    Make a payment arrangement
    .
If you know beforehand that you will not be able to settle your phone bill in the upcoming month, call your mobile phone provider or carrier as soon as possible. Tell them that you would like to make an arrangement on your payment. They can often adjust your due date for more than two weeks. This will keep your line from getting suspended. You can also do this even if you are already suspended. Some providers or carriers are generous enough to give you leeway, even if it's for just a few days.

  • 3
Call your provider or carrier to ask if there's been an error
    .
If you know that you already paid your bill, and paid it on time, and you still had your account suspended, call your provider or carrier as soon as possible. It could be that their systems are having some problems on updating their files. Call them to tell your situation. They will be able to look at your payments and update your account manually. They can remove the suspension on the account if it's proven that you're settled for the month, or they can adjust your payment if it's a company error.
Was this step helpful? Yes | No| I need help
    • Note: Always call your provider or carrier to check up on your account and make sure if the suspension on your account is legitimate or not. This will help avoid confusion and also avoid future problems for both parties.

Can I unroot my T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S4 without a SIM card (the SIM card slot is defective and will not read a SIM card)?

I rooted my T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S4 but when I put my SIM card back in, I saw the following error message: No SIM card. I called T-Mobile (of course I did not tell them I had rooted it) who said that my phone was part of a group of cellphones that had a bad SIM card slot and that they would replace it. They told me to take it into T-Mobile and the store would take care of sending in my old phone and would give me a new one. Of course when I got there they ran diagnostics on it and said my warranty had been voided because my phone was rooted. After banging my head against the wall because of my stupidity, I decided to try to unroot my phone. But since the SIM card mechanism doesn't work because it is defective, I'm not quite sure how to do this although I've done some research and it looks as though I can. If I'm able to, my husband is going to take the cellphone back into another T-Mobile facility, play dumb, and see if he can work the exchange. Can you help?
