Unlock the HP Touchpad

Edited by Thor, Jen M, Eng, drajun and 1 other

Hello and welcome to VisiHow. Today I'm going to show you a life saving solution to one of the most infuriating and frustrating idiosyncrasies of the HP 210 or 110 Netbook. This is something I used to routinely do. When using the mouse pad, you double tap for lots of things no problem, but if you look in the left top corner of the mouse pad there is a small LED dot. If you accidentally double tap on this corner a symbol appears with a red cross through it and now the LED dot is illuminated. Now the keypad is totally frozen. I can remember having to restart the computer many times until one day I managed to use the Hotkeys to use the internet and search for this problem, what you are now doing. The way to solve this is remarkably simple.
