Uninstall App on the Mac

Steps

To start with, click the "Applications" menu

The icon for this is a folder icon in the lower-right corner of your screen.

When the applications menu opens, find the application you want to uninstall
.
For this tutorial, we will uninstall RingCentral for Mac.

Click and drag the application into the trash can

The trash can icon is located in the lower right-hand corner of the screen.

Once the Finder window is open, click "Go"

It is located in the horizontal menu along the top of the screen.

Hold down the "Alt" or the "option" key

The option of going to the library will appear.

Click the "Search" bar in the upper-right corner

Now, type the name of the program into the search bar
.
"ringcentral" is typed in this video. Search results will be filtered as you type. There will be the installer shown.

Click and drag the file to the trash can icon

This will delete the installer.

Click the "Search" bar again

Type "ring central" with a space
.

Click "Library" near the top of the application window

You will see the RingCentral for Mac files. You will also see additional RingCentral for Mac files at the bottom of the list. These sets of files are located in the "Application Support" folder.

Select both files by holding "command" and clicking both files

Click and drag both folders to the trash can

The program will be deleted from the Mac. In the "Library" folder, make sure that you are deleting folders and files that are associated only with the program being removed. The items should not be shared by other programs. Be careful about that when deleting applications.
