On the home screen find the WhatsApp application

We can access WhatsApp in the Apps menu on the bottom right-hand corner if the application is not installed on the home screen

Scroll through the applications list to find the WhatsApp icon

Tap once on the WhatsApp icon to open it.

We need to locate the contact that we would like to unblock

On the top right-hand side of the phone, there are three icons: A magnifying glass to search for conversations, a small white card to view our contacts, and three vertical dots for more options. Tap the center icon, which is the small white card to locate a contact.

Alternatively, we can search through the contacts by pressing the magnifying glass icon on the top right-hand side

Now type the name of the person we are looking for

We can see that if we tap on the contact we are not able to open a dialogue box since this person is on the blocked list

We are given instructions that we need to "Tap and hold to unblock..." so we will tap on the contact once, and hold.

A pop-up box appears that says "Unblock Henry." We can say yes and agree to unblock him by pressing on the pop-up box
