Hello, and welcome to VisiHow. In this tutorial, we are going to show you how to turn on and off new feature notifications from the Twitter application on the HTC One M8.

   To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the power button located on the top of the phone

   Once the phone has been activated, we will see the lock screen.

   To unlock the phone, swipe the screen upwards

   Once the phone has been unlocked, we will see the home screen and multiple icons at the bottom. It is one of these icons that we will access to open up the applications folder.

   Tap the icon that looks like a grid of white dots, that is located at the bottom of the screen in the middle to open the applications folder

   Find the Twitter application, and tap on it once to open the application

   The Twitter application has a blue background with a white bird on it, with the word "Twitter" underneath it. Your Twitter application may be in a different position in this folder, therefore you will need to find it.

   First, we need to access the settings menu by tapping on the three vertical dots icon located in the top-right corner of the screen

   Now, tap on "Settings" which is at the bottom of the list

   Tap on "Mobile notifications", which is the first option

   Scroll down and tap on the box to the right of "First look at new features" to add or remove a check mark to enable or disable notifications for new features

   With this option enabled, we will receive notifications about new features and the first look at new features from Twitter. If we do not want to receive notifications for new contacts, we will tap the box to remove the check mark.
