Turn on NFC and Payment on Samsung Galaxy S8
Edited by Jay
NFC or near field communication is a way of transferring data wirelessly between two NFC enabled devices (Android Beam). In addition to transferring data and files, NFC can also be used to make wireless payments directly with your Galaxy S8. With Tap and Pay, users can either use Android Pay or their online banking, to essentially digitize their wallet. This can be incredibly convenient if you would rather not carry a wallet or bank card around. As more merchants start accepting wireless payments, this method of paying for goods and services will increase in popularity.
Although the steps below were completed using a Samsung Galaxy S8, they will work for any Android-powered device running Nougat.
