Hello, and welcome to the VisiHow Facebook video series. In this video, I'm going to show you how to enable in-app sounds on Facebook using the iPhone 6. If you are bothered with Facebook in-app sounds, there is always an option to turn them off or on.

   Find and open our Facebook application

   Now go to the settings, which are in the bottom right-hand corner

   It says, "More" underneath three vertical lines. It will take us to the main menu.

   Scroll down until we see "Account Settings", and tap on it

   Next, there is a little gear next to the word "Sounds"

   .

   "General" has the same icon. Don't mix them up. We need "Sounds". It will take us to our "In-App Sound" setting.

   To turn the in-app Facebook sounds on or off, all we have to do is tap this switch

   .

   Tap it, and it'll turn off.

   Tap the Back arrow in the top left-hand corner of the screen, after making our selection

   .

   Now, we won't hear the sounds when we get notifications, friend requests, or when we update our News Feed.

   Let's tap on "News Feed" in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen

   Drag the News Feed down, and release

   .

   Normally when doing this, Facebook would produce a sound. It doesn't, because we have turned it off.

   If we want to turn it back on, first tap "More"

    Open "Sounds" again

    Turn the switch on by tapping once

    We can go back to "News Feed" again to test the sound

    Tap on "News Feed". Be sure our volume is up.

    Now, drag down on the screen, and it should make a noise

    I prefer to keep in-app sounds on when I use my Facebook. It feels more interactive that way.
