    To begin, we're going to press the power button located on the right-hand side of the phone where my thumb is

    This will bring up our lock screen.

    On the lock screen, swipe up to enter the home screen

    We need to go to Settings
    .
    To do that, we can swipe down to the Notification section, and on the right we have All Settings. Press that to enter Settings.

    Here we have some different options
    .
    All of them are ticked and we need to un-tick the ones we don't want. We want to remove Text Suggestions and Automatic Corrections. At the top, we have Suggest Text. Turn that off, or turn it on if you need to. Now, it has taken away a large part of the other options as well. We've turned off Suggest Text, Correct Misspelled Words, Highlight Misspelled Words, and also Suggest emoticons. We have a couple other options at the bottom, and you can adjust them as you need.
