Hello and welcome to VisiHow. In this video, we're going to show you how to turn the text suggestions and automatic corrections on and off when using a Microsoft Lumia 535.

   To begin, we're going to press the power button located on the right-hand side of the phone where my thumb is

   On the lock screen, swipe up to enter the home screen

   We need to go to Settings

   To do that, we can swipe down to the Notification section, and on the right we have All Settings. Press that to enter Settings.

   Scroll down to find Keyboard

   We have a few different languages set up so we're going to need to select the language we want to remove the text suggestions from

   We have pressed English (United States) and this is the keyboard we're going to edit

   Here we have some different options

   .

   All of them are ticked and we need to un-tick the ones we don't want. We want to remove Text Suggestions and Automatic Corrections. At the top, we have Suggest Text. Turn that off, or turn it on if you need to. Now, it has taken away a large part of the other options as well. We've turned off Suggest Text, Correct Misspelled Words, Highlight Misspelled Words, and also Suggest emoticons. We have a couple other options at the bottom, and you can adjust them as you need.
