- 6Next to that is the "Language & keyboard" icon, which is a 3D box with a capital A inside. Press down on that, and it will bring up some options. We want the second option from the top, "Spell checker". Underneath, it says, "HTC Sense Input correction".Scroll further down and find "Language & keyboard".
- 7This shows that it is indeed on. When using the HTC One M8, having the spell checker enabled will allow the phone to help correct misspelled words as they are being typed. For example, when sending messages, it will correct your words and allow you to spell them correctly. However, you may want to turn this off, especially if you're speaking in another language, and you don't want to be corrected. The box across from "Spell checker" on the right side of the screen says "ON", and it has a green portion.
