    To open the applications folder, we need to press this icon located at the bottom center of the home screen

    In this folder, we now need to find the Google Settings application
    .
    Mine is located right here. We can see that there is a gray cog with the Google "g" inside and underneath, it says "Google Settings". Your Google Settings application may be in a different position on this folder. Therefore, you will need to find it and press down on it to enter the application.

    We can see that we have a menu of all the different settings and we need to scroll down to the bottom and press on the word "Security"

    We are looking for the "Remotely locate this device", "Show device location on Android Device Manger"
    .
    Currently this option is activated because the icon on the right is turquoise which means that it is On. We can remotely locate this device with the Android Device Manager.

    If we want to turn this option off and not be able to remotely locate the device, press down on the icon until it is gray
    .
    That means that it has been deactivated. However, if we do want to be able to remotely locate the HTC One M8, then we will need to press down on the icon until it is turquoise again. It is good to have this option activated because it can help us find our phone if we have lost it or if it has been stolen.
