Hello, and welcome to VisiHow. In this video, we are going to show you how to turn on or off the option for the HTC One M8 to vibrate when receiving reminders, from the calendar applications.

   To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the Power button, located on top of the phone

   Once the phone has been activated, we'll see the lock screen.

   To unlock the phone, swipe the screen upward

   Once the phone has been unlocked, we'll see the home screen. At the bottom, there will be icons. It is one of these icons that we now need.

   We need to open up the applications folder

   .

   To do that, we need this icon, in the middle, at the bottom of the screen. It looks like a grid of white dots. This is the icon for the applications folder. Press down on it, and it will open up that folder.

   Once the folder has been opened, we need to find the Calendar application

   It's located near the top of the screen. It is an icon of a calendar, and it says the word "Calendar". Press down on this icon and it will open up the Calendar application.

   Now, we need the icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen

   It looks like three small white squares in a vertical line. Press down on this icon, and a menu will appear.

   We want the option called "Settings"

   Press down on that section.

   We have our "Settings" menu on the screen, and we are looking for the "Vibrate" option

   .

   It will say "Vibrate when reminder is due". Currently, the box to the right of the word is empty. This means that the option is not activated. This option allows our phone to vibrate to give some more warning or notification about our reminders. Perhaps it is loud, and we can't hear so well, or we're worried about missing the reminder because we can't hear our phone. If we feel it vibrating it gives us more opportunity to get the reminder.

   If we want to select this option, press down on the box, and a blue check will appear

   Now this option is selected.

   If we wanted to turn it off, simply repeat the process
