Hello, and welcome to VisiHow. In this video, we are going to show you how to turn on and off magnification gestures on an HTC One M8.

   To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the Power button, located on top of the phone

   Once the phone has been activated, we'll see the lock screen.

   To unlock the phone, press down on the screen

   Hold down, and swipe up. Once the phone has been unlocked, we'll see the home screen. At the bottom, there will be icons.

   Now, we need to find the "Settings" menu

   To do that, we swipe the notification panel down. To do that, press down at the top of the screen, hold down, and swipe down.

   Now that the notification panel has appeared, here is the icon we're looking for

   In the top right-hand corner of the screen, there is a white cog icon. This is our settings icon. Press down on it, and it will open up our "Settings menu".

   We can see it says the word "Settings" in the top left-hand corner of the screen

   Now we'll scroll down until we get to the "PERSONAL" section

   In this section, we are looking for the option called "Accessibility"

   Next to this word, there is an icon of a hand. Press down on this option, and it will open our "Accessibility" menu.

   We are looking for the option that says, "Magnification gestures"

   .

   This option allows us to zoom in and out of the screen, in order to see things more clearly, to magnify words or images, or just to help us to see what is happening if we need to. The option is currently disabled. It says "Off" underneath it, and it says "OFF" in the icon on the far right-hand side of the screen.

   If we want to turn this option on, just press down on the icon

   .

   It is currently gray. If we press down on it, part of it will turn green, and it should say, "ON" in bold, black letters. But, we may not want to use this function because it's causing us to zoom in unintentionally and causing us irritation.
