Hello, and welcome to VisiHow. In this video, we are going to show you how to turn on and off "Search and URL suggestions" in Google Chrome on an HTC One M8.

   To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the Power button, located on top of the phone

   Once the phone has been activated, we'll see the lock screen.

   To unlock the phone, swipe the screen up

   Once the phone has been unlocked, we'll see the home screen. At the bottom, there will be icons.

   It is one of these icons that we now need, to open up the applications folder

   .

   To do that, we need this icon at the bottom of the home screen, in the middle. It looks like a grid, made up of white dots. Press down on this icon to open up our applications folder.

   In this folder, we need to find the Google Chrome application

   .

   Mine is located here. We can see the Google Chrome icon, which is a circle made up of different colors. Underneath, it says the word "Chrome". Our Google Chrome application may be in different positions in this folder. Therefore, we will need to find it. Once we've done that, press down on it, to enter the application.

   Once we have entered the Google Chrome application, we need to use this icon, in the top right-hand corner of the screen

   It looks like three small black dots in a vertical line. Press down on this icon, and it will open up a menu.

   Scroll down until we find the word "Settings", and press down on it

   It will open up a new menu.

   Now, we want to scroll down until we find the "Advanced" section, in blue

   Underneath that, is the option we need

   .

   Press down on the "Privacy" section. It will open up a menu.

   We want the option that says, "Search and URL suggestions

   :

   Use a prediction service to show related queries and popular websites as you type in the address bar." This option is currently activated. We can tell that because this box is blue with a white check inside of it. This means that when we are typing in the search bar in Google, it will give us suggestions of popular websites, or show similar words to see if we want to use them.

    If we want to turn this option off, and we don't want to receive any of these suggestions, then press down on the box

    The box will turn white, meaning that the option is deactivated.

    If we want to activate this option and the box is empty, press down on the box until it turns blue with a white check inside
