Hello, and welcome to VisiHow. In this video, we are going to show you how to on and off the option to save passwords in Google Chrome on an HTC One M8.

   To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the Power button, located on top of the phone

   Once the phone has been activated, we'll see the lock screen.

   To unlock the phone, swipe the screen up

   Once the phone has been unlocked, we'll see the home screen. At the bottom, there will be icons.

   It is one of these icons that we now need, to open up the applications folder

   .

   To do that, we need this icon at the bottom of the home screen, in the middle. It looks like a grid, made up of white dots. Press down on this icon to open up our applications folder.

   In this folder, we need to find the Google Chrome application

   .

   Mine is located here. We can see the Google Chrome icon, which is a circle made up of different colors. Underneath, it says the word "Chrome". Our Google Chrome application may be in different positions in this folder. Therefore, we will need to find it. Once we've done that, press down on it, to enter the application.

   We now need this icon, in the top right-hand corner of the screen

   It looks like three small black dots in a vertical line. Press down on this icon, and it will open up a menu.

   In this menu, we want this option that says the word "Settings"

   Press down on the word "Settings" to open our "Settings" menu.

   Now, we need this option here that says "Save passwords"

   .

   Underneath it says "On", indicating that this option is currently activated. Press down on this section. It will show us an option called "Save passwords". It will say, "On" and the icon will be blue. The Google Chrome application will save our passwords after we've entered them into certain websites. This can be very useful, as it will allow us quick access to these websites. It also means they're not so well protected.

   If we wanted to turn this option off, just press down on the blue icon

   It will turn gray, and it will now say "Off", indicating that the setting is deactivated.
