Hello, and welcome to VisiHow. In this video, we are going to show you how to turn on and off "Navigation error suggestions" in Google Chrome on an HTC One M8.

   To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the Power button, located on top of the phone

   Once the phone has been activated, we'll see the lock screen.

   To unlock the phone, swipe the screen up

   Once the phone has been unlocked, we'll see the home screen. At the bottom, there will be icons.

   It is one of these icons that we now need to access, to open up the applications folder

   To do that, we need this icon at the bottom of the home screen, in the middle. It looks like a grid, made up of white dots. Press down on this icon to open up our applications folder.

   In this folder, we need to find the Google Chrome application

   .

   Mine is located here. We can see the Google Chrome icon, which is a circle made up of different colors. Underneath, it says the word "Chrome". Our Google Chrome application may be in different positions in this folder. Therefore, we will need to find it. Once we've done that, press down on it, to enter the application.

   Once the application has loaded, we need to press this icon, in the top right-hand corner of the screen

   It looks like three small black dots in a vertical line. Press down on this icon, and it will open up a menu.

   In this menu, we want this option that says the word "Settings"

   Press down on the word "Settings" to open our "Settings" menu.

   We now need to scroll down until we get to the "Advanced" section, written in blue

   Underneath "Advanced" it says the word "Privacy"

   Press down on this section to open our "Privacy" options.

   We are looking for the first option that says, "Navigation error suggestions

   :

   Show suggestions when a web address does not resolve, or a connection cannot be made." We can see that this option is currently activated, as the box is blue with a white check inside. When there are navigation errors, the web address doesn't not resolve, or a connection cannot be made, then suggestions will be shown to us.

    If we don't want to see these suggestions, and we want to turn them off, then press down on the box, and the box will turn white

    This option has been deactivated.

    However, if we do want to see these suggestions, then we will need to activate this option

    To do that, press down on the box until it turns blue with a white check inside. That means that this option is activated.
