To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the Power button located on the top of the phone

Once the phone has been activated, we will see the lock screen

To unlock the phone, swipe the screen upwards

Once the phone has been unlocked, we will see the home screen, and at the bottom we will see several icons

We need the icon at the bottom of the home screen and in the middle

It is a grid of white dots. Press down on this icon, and it will open our "Apps" folder.

In this folder, we need to find the Google "Chrome" application

It has the Google Chrome icon, which is a circle made up of several different colors. Underneath, there is the word "Chrome". This icon may be located anywhere in the "Apps" folder.

It is currently "Off", as we have previously seen. It says "Off" at the top left corner of the screen, and the icon across from it on the right is gray.

On this screen, it also says, "Enabling 'Do Not Track" means that a request will be included with your browsing traffic

Any effect depends on whether a website responds to the request, and how the request is interpreted. For example, some websites may respond to this request by showing you ads that aren't based on other websites that you've visited. Many websites will still collect and use your browsing data - for example to improve security, to provide content, ads and recommendations on their websites, and to generate reporting statistics." Therefore, as we can see, even if this option is activated, a lot of websites will still track our information. However, some of them won't be able to, and they won't be able to give us personalized adverts. It depends on our specific needs and desires if we want to activate this option or not.

To activate this option, press down on switch on the upper right side of the screen

This will change the switch to blue, and it will say "On" across from the switch on the left side of the screen. That means this option is now activated, and we have enabled the Do Not Track mode. This will try and stop advertisers, cookies, and websites from tracking our location and web usage.

To turn this option "Off" again, just press down on the now blue switch on the top right side of the screen

This will turn the switch tray again, and it will say "Off" on the top left side of the screen. Now, this option is deactivated.
