Hello and welcome to VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to turn on and off all mobile notifications from Twitter on an HTC One M8.

   To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the power button located on top of the phone

   Once the phone has been activated we will see the lock screen.

   To unlock the phone, swipe the screen up

   Once the phone has been unlocked we will see the home screen, and at the bottom we will see 5 icons. We now need to open the application folder.

   We can do that by tapping the icon in the middle, at the bottom of the screen

   There is a grid of white dots. This is the icon for the applications folder.

   Now that the folder has been opened, we need to find and tap the Twitter application

   .

   There is a Twitter icon, which is a blue background with a white bird on tap, and underneath it says the word "Twitter". Your application may be in a different location, so look for the icon in your folder. We want to demonstrate how to turn on or off all mobile notifications.

   To do that, tap on the 3 vertical dots in the top right-hand corner of the screen

   To turn mobile notifications off, tap the switch on the right-hand side in the blue bar at the top

   When notifications are on, the switch will be a dark shade of blue and the notification settings will be available. After we press down on the switch, all of the settings fade and the switch turns gray. This means all of the notifications have been deactivated.
