Turn On Reading Mode on a Samsung Note 10.1

You're watching VisiHow. In this video tutorial, we're going to review enabling "Reading mode" on your Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1. This mode delivers a different tone to the screen that lets us read for long periods of time.
Swipe down from the top on the home screen to access the notification menu.
Tap the gear-shaped settings icon in the upper-right corner.
In settings, tap on the "Device" menu at the top of the screen.
Then, tap on "Display" under "Sound and display".
In the "Display" panel, tap on the "Reading mode" toggle. "Reading mode" is the fifth option on this list. The toggle turns green when it is turned on.
Now, let's tap on "Reading mode" one time. This will allow you to edit the applications that you use for the reading mode. In this video, there are no applications on the device that are used for reading mode. You can edit this.
Tap on "Edit" in the top-right corner of the screen near the green button. You will see different applications that will work with the reading mode.
Check the applications for the reading mode. In this video, "Businessweek+" is tapped because it mainly has text.
Let's also check "Flipboard". Both "Businessweek" and "Flipboard" are news-related.
When you have finished, tap on "Done". In this example, "Flipboard" and "Businessweek" have been added to the reading mode.
Now, press the home button. Let's open the applications that have the reading mode enabled. This will allow us to see the improvement in reading convenience.
Tap on the application folder.
Locate the application with the reading mode enabled and tap on it. In this tutorial, let's tap on "Flipboard"
Find and tap an article. Wait for it to load.
