We scroll down. There will be the "Read receipts" option. There will be a check in the box, indicating that the option is activated. What is this option? When someone reads our message in a chat, we see checks at the bottom of the message, indicating that it has been read. We know that someone has read our message. This can be good and bad because if he does not reply, we will know that he will have read it. We might wonder why the person does not reply afterwards. It is also very useful because we know that the person has read and seen our message. As WhatsApp says, "If you turn off read receipts, you won't be able to see read receipts from other people. Read receipts are always sent for group chats." This option is for our read receipts.
