You're watching VisiHow. In another video, we demonstrated how to turn off notifications on the Facebook web site. In this video, we're going to demonstrate how to turn off all of the notifications in Chrome by Google.
Click the hot-dog menu. It is in the top-right corner. The menu has three lines.
From the "Settings" menu, scroll down and click "Show advanced settings..."
Now, scroll down to "Content settings..."
Click "Content settings..."
Then, scroll down until you see "Notifications". You will see that you have a few options: "Allow all sites to show notifications", "Ask when a site wants to show notifications (recommended)", and "Do not allow any site to show notifications."
Click "Manage exceptions..."
You can choose certain web sites to be able to allowed or blocked by clicking "Allow" or "Block".
Then, click "Allow" or "Block". For the purposes of this tutorial, let us leave exceptions the way they are.
Click "Do not allow any site to show notifications". This will turn off Chrome notifications.
This has been a video tutorial on how to disable Google Chrome notifications. If you have any questions or comments, please leave them in the space below. Thank you for watching VisiHow!
