Some other reasons to turn Live Photos off is that it is not performing well in low-light instances. If you're taking a photo at night, you will want to make sure that Live Photo is off. Lastly, Live Photo takes up memory to record the video as well. A traditional photo would take up about 2 MB, add 1.5 seconds of video both before and after the photo, and add audio that takes additional 2 MB. It's about twice the amount of storage space required as a traditional picture.If the Live Photos option were enabled, you could tap on the shutter button.
