   Facebook Messenger is not on the home screen in this example

   The messages area can be accessed through Facebook. Otherwise we can tap on the Apps icon in the bottom, right-hand side of the example. It is a grey box with a set of white squares inside of it.

   Tap once to open up the Apps menu

   Scroll to the left and right through the menu until we have found the icon for Messenger

   Now tap once on the second setting is for "Notifications & Sounds" and it is currently turned on in this example

   Tap once to access the On/Off switch that is currently blue

    Additionally, we get a pop-up box that we can Mute Notifications "For 15 Minutes," "For 1 Hour," "For 8 Hours," or "For 24 Hours."
