Edited by Thor, Crystal, Eng
Hello and welcome to VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to turn on and off the option to group emails in the same conversation for IMAP and POP3 accounts in the Gmail application on an HTC One M8.
- 4There is a Gmail icon, which is an envelope with a red 'M', and underneath it says the word "Gmail". Your application may be in a different location, so look for the icon in your folder. We now need to find the settings menu. Now that the folder has been opened, we need to find and tap the Gmail application.
- 8Underneath it says, "Group emails in the same conversation for IMAP and POP3 accounts. We can see it is currently on because the box is blue with a white check mark inside. If we have multiple emails from an individual or a group, it's going to put all of those emails in one conversation so that we can easily refer back to them. If we want to see each email individually, not as part of a conversation, we can turn it off by pressing down on the box.We want the option that says "Conversation view".
