Hello, and welcome to VisiHow. In this video, we're going to show you how to turn 'BlinkFeed' on or off on an HTC One M8.

To begin, let's turn the phone on by pressing the 'power' button located right on top of the phone

Once the phone is activated, you'll see the lock screen.

To unlock the phone, press down on the screen and swipe up

Once the phone is unlocked, we'll arrive at the home screen. What we want to show you in this video is how to turn BlinkFeed on and off. BlinkFeed allows you to see everything you love in one place, such as photos, social media, favorite websites, news sources or other applications. You can, of course, turn it on and off. We can show you how to do that now. We are currently on the home screen, but it doesn't matter if we're on the home screen or on another panel.

Press down on the screen and swipe two fingers together

Now, we can see that we have some images here. These are the home screen, a panel, and on the left, 'Blinkfeed'. This means that it's currently turned off. The white plus sign means that we can add it, or turn it on.

To turn it on, press down on 'Blinkfeed'

It's been turned on.

Press the 'Blinkfeed' panel to enter it

We can scroll from our home screen into BlinkFeed, and it's ready to be used.

To remove it, press down on the screen and pinch in with your fingers

It doesn't matter if you're on the home screen or any panel.

Now, we need to press the icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen
.
The icon is a white outline of a piece of paper or a rectangle, and it has a white pencil inside. Press down on that icon, and it will allow us to remove panels or anything that's here. It will allow us to remove BlinkFeed, as well.

Scroll to BlinkFeed

Make sure it has a blue outline around it. That means it's been selected. Press 'Remove', which is located at the bottom right-hand corner of the screen in the white box. It will disappear.

We can see that once again, it has the word 'Blinkfeed' and the plus sign in white

It's asking us if we want to turn it back on. That is how we turn it back on if we want to.

Swipe in with your fingers to bring up the panels, and press down on 'Blinkfeed' to turn it back on again
