The good news is no third-party applications are required to trim your video to the right length. The trimming tool is built-in to the iPhone/iPad's photo and video editing toolset. The option to save the original or new clip is available, minimizing the need to duplicate videos beforehand. Trimming unnecessary footage from your videos is a great way to reduce file sizes.
