    To start, unlock the phone by pressing the big, round button located at the bottom of the phone, which is the home button

    Alternatively, you can press the lock button on the right-hand side of the phone

    Swipe it across and enter the passcode, or press your finger onto the home button, which doubles as a fingerprint scanner if the option is enabled.

    Locate and press the Kayak icon, which is bright orange with a white "K" in it

    Since we're looking to track flights, you would think "Flights" would be the correct option, but that's how to search. Go down to the bottom and press the eighth option from the top, "Flight Tracker". It looks like an airplane with a radar signal around it.
