Hello, and welcome to VisiHow. In this video, we are going to show you how to take a screenshot on an HTC One M8.

To begin, we need to turn the phone
.
We can do this by pressing the Power button located on the top, right-hand side of the phone.

Once the phone has been activated, we will see the Lock screen

To unlock the phone, press down on the screen, hold down until we see two padlock icons and swipe upwards

Once the phone has been unlocked, we will see the Home screen

At the bottom, we will see a row featuring five icons. What we want to do in this video is show how we can take a screenshot. We can take a screenshot at any time, and anything that is on the screen will be captured in that photo or in that shot. In order to take a screenshot, we will need to press the Volume Down button and the Power button simultaneously.

Press down on these two buttons simultaneously, this will allow us to take a screen shot

We will hear a loud click, indicating that a screenshot has been taken

We will also see the image zoom out on the screen and then disappear.

Now we will see in the top left-hand corner of the screen there is an icon of a photo

That confirms that there is a photo that has been taken. What we will do now is go into the Application folder, find our Photo Album, and view the photo.

To do this, we will press the icon featured center at the bottom of the screen

This icon will feature three rows of three white dots.

This will bring up our Application folder, labeled "Apps"

Once we have opened up this folder, we are looking for the option labeled "Gallery"
