Steps

In order to take a screenshot, you simply need to press and hold the home button and the power button at the same time

Do note that if you press and hold these two buttons while your phone is locked, the fingerprint scanner will try to activate itself

In this video, the home screen is active. Hold your thumb on the power button.

Then, hold your other thumb on the home button

Press and hold these two buttons at the same time to take a screenshot. You will notice that the picture pops up and then goes away.

Pressing the lock button one time will lock the phone

Press the lock button again to unlock the phone
.

From the lock screen, you can press and hold the home and power buttons to take a screenshot again

The screenshot will be taken. You will see a small message appear at the bottom of your screen that reads, "No match". This is an indicator for the password.

To view the screenshots, tap on the Gallery icon

It may be on one of the home screens or in the "Apps" menu. The Gallery icon has a yellow flower on a blue background. In Gallery, there will be two screenshots. They will be listed at the top if the photos are sorted by time.

When you have finished viewing the screenshots, press the home button

You will return to the home screen.
