Take Photos with Volume Buttons of Phone or Headset When Using iPhone 6

You're watching VisiHow. In this tutorial, we're going to show you how to take photos with the volume buttons of the phone or headphones on an iPhone 6.
Let's get started by pressing the Home button one time.
Once we've done that, we'll be on the lock screen where we can then swipe across.
Now, enter a PIN or Passcode.
Alternatively, we can use a thumb or finger to press and hold on the Home button. This will trigger the fingerprint sensor and take us to the home screen of the phone.
From the home screen we need to find the "Camera" icon, which is a black camera in a silver box that's labeled "Camera".
Press that icon one time to open the Camera window.
We will notice a big, round white "PHOTO" button at the bottom. A single press on this button will take a photo.
We'll also notice that a photo is taken when the screen changes, and the image at the lower left corner changes. The screen will flash, and a new image will appear in the bottom corner.
However, we can also take our iPhone 6 headphones and use the volume up and own buttons to accomplish the same thing.
We'll start by pressing the volume up button. This will take a photo. We can do the same thing by pressing on the volume down button. A single press on that button will also take a photo.
In addition, we accomplish the same thing using the volume up and down buttons on the side of the phone.
One press on volume up will snap a photo.
One press on volume down will take a photo as well.
This is how we can use the phone to take photos more easily or in a more traditionally comfortable manner. For example, if we're holding our phone, and we want to take a photo, we might find it difficult to press the photo at the bottom of the screen. It can be much easier to use the volume buttons.
On the other hand, if the phone is on a tripod or a stand, it can be much easier to use the volume up and down buttons on the headphones or use the built-in timer to take a photo. The timer is discussed in another tutorial, which can be found on this website.
This concludes our tutorial on using the volume buttons on the phone or headphones to take photos with an iPhone 6. If you have questions or comments, please leave them in the section below. Otherwise, thank you for choosing VisiHow and have a great day.
